Halfway up the Frying Pan Glacier on Mt. Rainier, my pack started to wobble. One bad shift and I’d be bouncing down the ice instead of climbing it. I reached back, grabbed the Micro MOLLE Knife clipped to my shoulder strap, and sliced a clean length of cordage to lock everything in place. Light blade. Quick cut. Problem solved before gravity got a vote.
